On the SuperRare platform, artists create a work of art and link their art to a token. Thus, the artists’ art will be forever linked to a Non-Fungible Token (NFT).
It is also important to know that SuperRare has its own token: RARE. The special feature of RARE is that the token is not used to purchase digital artworks or for transactions. All NFTs sold on SuperRare must be paid for with ETH.
The owners of RARE tokens are entitled to participate in forums called “Spaces” to decide whether, for example, new artists are given access to the SuperRare sales market. They then earn a percentage of all sales made by artists in their Spaces.
SuperRare is an NFT artist marketplace. It is a platform where art lovers can network and collect and sell digital artworks. The idea is that artists from all over the world can exchange digital art in a decentralised way.
The platform allows anyone and everyone to collect and sell digital art. Many of the world’s best-known digital artists make their works available for sale here.
